hi, I'm Whitney (she/her)

JD | C-FSD (BADT) | C-CBE (BADT)

Birth and postpartum are sacred rites of passage — moments that deserve to be met with intention, care, and deep respect. It’s one of my greatest joys to walk alongside families as they prepare.  You deserve to thrive in this experience, not just get through it.

After my first child was born, I realized how deeply birthwork called to me. I left my legal career to follow that pull. My work has since grown into a passion for supporting pregnant people, increasing access to care, and advocating for reproductive justice.

I grew up in Michigan and spent twenty years in Southern California after graduating from MSU. I trained and built my practice there before returning home to Southwest Michigan, where I now blend that depth of experience with a community-centered approach.

I am a certified childbirth educator and full-spectrum doula through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings. I’ve had the honor of apprenticing twice with Britta Bushnell, PhD (whose work has shaped so much of my approach), and I served as a Mentor for her Apprenticeship for Perinatal Professionals (2024–2025)

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: every person deserves to be informed, supported, and celebrated. How can I help?
